Job description

JOB DUTIES

This engineering position is for a Process Engineering owner for CMP tools. The CMP Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining Chemical Mechanical Planarization processes used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sustaining and improving equipment and process related metrics.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Continually improving processes

  • Developing & transferring new processes into production

  • New tool start-ups

  • Controlling film thicknesses and particle performance

  • Setting up and maintaining specifications and other documentation

  • Managing statistical process control charts.

  • Analyzing and identifying process failure modes and integrating recommend changes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires an advanced degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing methods and techniques.

Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $89,000-$129,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.
