Job description

Verify work required to the process router.
Perform necessary end-finishing to all products.
Remove thread protectors at beginning of process.
Operate pipe handling systems to navigate products through zinc phosphate process.
Ensure that the zinc phosphate process is completed successfully before product is sent to the next process.
Stamp, paint and stencil product as required by process router.
Bead blast product as needed.
Apply lubricant and replace thread protectors.
Verify product dimension and heat information with router provided.
Use a swage machine to reshape the end of pipe using high pressure to prepare for threading. The end of pipe may be reduced to prepare for pin connection or expanded to prepare for a box connection.
Use stress relieving equipment to reduce residual stress remaining in pipe as a result of swaging.
Document information related to joint number, size stressed to, and heated temperature for stress relieving.
Operate the forklift as needed to assist the production process.
Maintain process and finish area in a neat and clean condition.
