Responsibilities/Qualifications

First Equity Mortgage, a subsidiary of Drees Homes, is seeking a Processing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting FEM Processing Coordinators with daily tasks in order to expedite the processing of active loans in pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order 3rd party vendor documents such as flood certifications, verification of employment (VOE), home-owners insurance policies, title work, tax return verification (TRV), and undisclosed debt monitoring (UDM) from Equifax. Follow up as necessary.

2. Order appraisals in Mercury Network when final bills have been received and forwarded from loan officer or loan officer assistant within 2 business days. Follow up as necessary.

3. Request direct verifications of rental history or mortgage payment when required by Underwriting. Follow up as necessary.

4. Serve as back up for front desk reception area and incoming main FEM phone line.

5. Order updates to 3rd party vendor documents as needed.

6. Other duties as assigned by Manager.

The schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM plus additional hours as necessary.
