Job Summary:
HCL Global Systems Inc is seeking a Support Analyst to assist with supporting legacy applications and automating tasks. The role involves utilizing shell scripting, SQL queries, and coordinating with various teams to manage incidents and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
• Possess basic knowledge of Unix, Linux to support Legacy applications.
• Utilize shell scripting and automation for recurring daily and monthly tasks.
• Develop skills in Power Automate and power script creation.
• Problem management / Desing and development of automation related use cases
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
• Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure groups, and third-party vendors during system incidents.
• Conduct thread dumps and core dump analysis when servers experience unexpected crashes.
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements regarding all incidents and key performance indicators.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes (including Incident and Change Management).
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers, vendors, and offshore teams to address and resolve issues.
