Job description

Overview

The purpose of the Senior Product Manager is to lead the strategic direction, roadmap planning, and execution of key product initiatives for the Revenue Management team. This role translates business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements, driving cross functional teams to the successful delivery of high impact features. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to guide the product lifecycle from concept through release.

This role is built for a self-starter who thrives in complex problem spaces, quickly identifies high value opportunities, and turns them into exceptional outcomes. The key tasks and responsibilities of this position are defined below.ย 

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and multi-release roadmap
  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish release goals and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions that move the business forward

Product Ownership & Execution

  • Lead requirements elicitation and translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and supporting documentation
  • Guide sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily team interactions to ensure accountability and high-quality execution
  • Own the product lifecycle end-to-endโ€”from discovery to delivery to iteration

Crossโ€‘Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central connective tissue across engineering, design, data science, and business teams
  • Partner with Problem Management teams to investigate and resolve client reported issues and escalations
  • Navigate challenges with urgency and composure, resolving high visibility issues

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain product artifacts, agile boards, and transparent prioritized backlogs within Azure DevOps
  • Track team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement through process optimization
  • Triage issues, manage escalations, and ensure adherence to SLAs
  • Prepare and deliver polished updates and demos to leadership and other stakeholders
Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is a proactive and decisive self starter with strong ownership and the ability to turn strategy into execution
  • Has excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Speaks with equal fluency to business and tech stakeholders
  • Understands web technologies, SaaS products, and API integrations and knows how to dig in
  • Has advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Has foundational SQL skills and can write basic queries
  • Has some experience in the multifamily housing industry
  • Has the desire to grow into a people leader
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred
  • Familiarity with Java or .NET a plus
