The Role

The Oracle EBS SCM & FS Sr Consultantprovides hands-on technical leadership, business support, and continuous improvement for enterprise ERP systems as part of the ERP Support team. This role works closely with business leads, DBAs, Solutions Architecture teams, developers, and global IT groups to support and enhance Oracle EBS, Oracle NetSuite, and BillingPlatform environments.

The ideal candidate is a strong techno-functional ERP professional with direct production support experience, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to lead while remaining hands-on technically. This role requires someone who can diagnose and resolve complex ERP issues, bring structure to support operations, and mentor team members in a fast-paced global environment.

This position partners with teams across the US, China, Hong Kong, UK, and India to support critical ERP business operations and strategic system initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the techno-functional expert for Oracle EBS ERP systems with strong focus on Supply Chain modules including:
    • OM
    • Inventory
    • Purchasing
    • Pricing
    • Cost Management
    • BOM
    • WIP
    • MRP
    • Agile PLM
    • Demantra
  • Support Financial modules including AP, GL, AR, FA, SLA, Oracle Payments, and TCA
  • Provide hands-on production support for Oracle EBS, NetSuite, and BillingPlatform environments
  • Lead incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, patch analysis, and high severity production issue resolution within SLA requirements
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex ERP workflow, transaction, integration, and data-related issues
  • Work closely with DBAs, systems architects, production support teams, developers, and business users to isolate and resolve system issues
  • Perform advanced SQL troubleshooting, data analysis, reconciliation, and validation activities
  • Support ERP business processes including procurement, order management, warehouse fulfillment, billing, and financial transactions
  • Participate in the growth and operational support of BillingPlatform initiatives
  • Coordinate development activities and operational tasks with IT partners and development teams to deliver scalable solutions
  • Support projects and change requests through all phases including:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Design
    • Testing
    • Deployment
    • Go-live support
    • Production stabilization
  • Create and maintain documentation, support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repeatable operational processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to reduce recurring incidents and improve system stability
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to ERP support team members while remaining actively involved in technical support activities
  • Collaborate closely with global business and IT teams to support enterprise ERP operations

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS or NetSuite support experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules:

  • Experience supporting Finance modules including AP, GL, AR, FA, and SLA
  • Advanced SQL knowledge including complex joins, troubleshooting, and data analysis
  • Proven experience supporting ERP production environments including:
    • Incident management
    • Problem management
    • Root cause analysis
    • Patch analysis
    • Workflow troubleshooting
    • High severity issue resolution
  • Experience troubleshooting ERP workflows, approvals, order flows, integrations, and interface failures
  • Ability to work closely with DBAs, systems architects, production support teams, and business stakeholders to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Strong operational mindset with focus on documentation, repeatable solutions, and process improvement
  • Experience supporting global ERP operations across multiple regions and time zones preferred
  • Oracle EBS R12.2.x experience preferred
