Position Overview

Alliance RV is looking for a Director of Accounting and Finance to lead the company's financial operations, accounting functions, reporting, tax and compliance activities, and other duties as assigned. This role will play a key leadership position in driving financial performance, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with financial strategy, process improvement experience, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 8-10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Prior leadership or management experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, advanced Excel, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation strongly preferred
  • MBA or advanced finance/accounting certification is a plus
  • Experience scaling financial operations in a growing organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Provide financial analysis, KPIs, management reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
  • Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
  • Lead and mentor accounting and finance team members
  • Partner with operations, HR, sales, and leadership teams to support company growth and profitability
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiencies
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, financing activities, or strategic initiatives as needed
