Loss Prevention Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in team Loss Prevention Program to reduce inventory and profit loss.
  • Educate the store team on Loss Prevention Programs.
  • Explain and demonstrate measures to prevent losses.
  • Inspect, review and audit key areas as outlined in Merchandise Standards and Store Audit Program.
  • Internal investigations
  • Delivery investigations
  • Identify and report violations of Company policies to your immediate supervisor.
  • Prepare reports and document all Loss Prevention incidents accurately and timely.
  • Secure evidence as per your jurisdictional specific requirements.
  • Monitor CCTV System to detect incidents of dishonesty and violations of Store Policy.
  • Conduct Worker's Compensation and Public Liability Accident Investigations.
  • Initiate investigations of any dishonest or unethical activities to identify potential loss.
  • Investigate, detain and interview shoplifters
  • Appear as a witness in legal proceedings

Full-Time Availability Requirements:

  • Average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality.
  • Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered).
  • Restrictions on availability limited to two days per week.
