Our goal is to build a teaching and learning community that cherishes childhood and understands how children learn through purposeful play. Our teaching team will provide a creative, joyful, and developmentally appropriate preschool environment where children can explore and learn through scaffolded hands-on activities. We are committed to fostering a love for learning in all developmental domains, ensuring each child thrives socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Job Summary: We seek a friendly and professional Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will create and implement developmentally appropriate activities, maintain positive relationships with parents and colleagues, and ensure the classroom and school are a warm and engaging place. A team player with a cheerful and nurturing disposition, you will always be prepared to provide the best educational experience for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field (12 ECE units minimum); strong preference for at least 3 units of Infant & Toddler coursework.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
Understanding of basic child development principles and play-based learning.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must pass a background check.
Benefits:
$27-$32/hr. Depending on education and years of experience
Paid Sick Leave is accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
