The Farmhouse Preschool
Hours: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM (Full-Time)
Pay: $15.50 $16.50 per hour
The Farmhouse Preschool is seeking a warm, nurturing, and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. Our school provides a welcoming, play-based learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
Responsibilities
  • Implement the provided Pre-K curriculum and enhance it to meet the individual needs and learning goals of students
  • Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support school readiness
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports each childs individual growth
  • Guide children in social-emotional learning, problem-solving, and independence
  • Maintain a structured daily routine that balances play, exploration, and learning
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support school programs and events
Qualifications
  • Experience working with preschool or Pre-K aged children
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • CDA, Associates, or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
