Full-Time Eagles Nest Grill Cook - Eagles Nest
Job Description
  • Prepare ala carte breakfast and lunch items for students, staff, and guests of Ashland University.
  • Set up breakfast station for the days orders and efficiently transition to lunch.
  • Maintain a clean and organized station throughout service.
  • Stock station and prep additional items as needed.
  • Maintain orders from Grubhub as well as in-house orders.
  • Assist in monthly Inventory counting and monitor stock rotation and expiration to minimize waste.
  • Ability to operate registers and take orders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with monthly inventory for cost of goods.
  • Maintain high levels of sanitation following the Ohio Revised Code for food safety.

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and stock management.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Food Safety certified.
  • Previous work in a high volume environment.

Physical Demands
  • Area can be hot and fast paced.
  • Bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more.
