Job description

We're looking for a Marketing Manager who will serve as the key link between our Marketing and Sales teams at KENT WORLDWIDE, bringing the Voice of the Customer into the organization while representing the Voice of our Brands in the marketplace. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping and executing brand and business strategies that align directly with our commercial goals. You'll collaborate closely with brand marketing, sales, and agency partners to develop innovative, high-impact activation programs that drive consistent execution across the U.S. By translating strategy into action at the customer level, you'll help fuel profitable growth and strengthen our brand presence.
  • This role is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development of an integrated promotional and activations calendar in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, set KPIs , monitor implementation and evaluate ROI and develop new ways to optimize programs for future execution.
  • Development of customer/channel strategies in collaboration with Sales.
  • Manage customer marketing budgets by planning and aligning with strategic accounts to deliver effective and profitable programs.
  • Development of selling stories, category reviews decks, and best practices to disseminate and implement across channels and customers.
  • Champion new product market entry and execution. Includes managing the development of sales presentation/materials and managing tracking/analyzing the 4Ps in-market implementation.
  • Attend sales and customers meetings to represent the voice of our brands.
  • Engage with Marketing to provide the voice of sales in strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in planning, development and presentation of sales & brand materials at all key Trade Shows and Customer Collaboration Planning sessions, ensuring our sales and brand strategies and priorities are well represented
  • Partner with Category Management to identify research opportunities, and leverage data to develop category 4Ps strategy for Customer implementation.
  • Provide input and customer centric perspective on brand performance in preparation for S&OP process.
  • Develop merchandising materials to improve brand visibility and drive trial across key customers, according to brand guidelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing, sales, or business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the CPG industry required
  • 3+ years of experience in Customer Marketing/Trade Marketing CPG (Highly Desirable)
  • Syndicated data experience (IRI, Nielsen, customer-specific platforms (Retail Link, etc.)
  • Experience in account management
  • Experience in sales planning & operations
  • Marketing or Category Management experience

TRAVEL EXPECTED:
  • 5-10%
