Our client, located in San Marcos, CA, is an innovative and rapidly growing manufacturer specializing in high-performance athletic equipment within the gymnastics and movement training sector. Their products are engineered with precision and durability in mind, serving both commercial and professional training environments. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support daily manufacturing and operational workflows at their San Marcos facility.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support across manufacturing, production, and logistics functions
  • Assist in coordinating production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow
  • Monitor inventory levels, track materials, and support procurement efforts to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline processes and resolve operational bottlenecks
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, work orders, and inventory transactions within ERP or internal systems
  • Support quality control processes by ensuring documentation accuracy and assisting with inspections as needed
  • Help coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including order verification, packaging, and carrier scheduling
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing operational efficiencies

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Basic understanding of inventory management, production workflows, and supply chain processes
