This role is a member of the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Primary Care Leadership team providing professional practice management for primary care clinics. Responsible for leading clinical and business objectives within a primary care medical home model to ensure high quality outcomes. Responsibilities include leadership for operational objectives related to financial, patient experience, quality and employee engagement and growth objectives for individual providers and the practice overall. Key leadership competencies include aligning, planning, directing and delegating work, building effective teams, and optimizing work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field required or relevant experience.
  • Practice management experience of 8+ years will be considered in lieu of degree required.
  • 2+ years prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong physician relation skills required.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills necessary for assessment and management of patient, family or staff concerns.
  • Understands the sensitive nature of information and communication within a health care setting and maintains and ensures the strictest level of confidentiality.
  • Understanding and demonstration of the use of data in decision-making and measurement within a continuous improvement framework.
  • Prior experience and efficiency in an EHR and Microsoft Office applications.
