Job description

CWP Energy is a technology-driven energy trading company focused on North American power markets. Our approach to grid dynamics has established us among the top trading firms in the space. We are proud of an entrepreneurial culture that rewards initiative, experimentation, and intelligent risk-taking.
We are continuously growing our trading team and want to connect with sharp, driven traders across the major U.S. power markets. We trade a broad range of financial and physical power products, and we hire across experience levels - from developing talent to seasoned traders with an established track record. This is an opportunity to create real value in an organization with limited red tape and direct access to decision-makers.
Job requirements:
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
  • You thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • You have experience trading in North American wholesale power markets, financial or physical.
  • You have working knowledge of one or more major markets (e.g., PJM, ERCOT, MISO).
  • You are comfortable working with data; strong SQL and Python skills are a significant asset.
  • You speak and write in English fluently.
  • You have the ability and desire to travel for training and knowledge sharing.

What we are offering:
  • Trade your strategies with our platform behind you - direct support from a desk of analysts, engineers, and quants dedicated to helping you find and scale your edge.
  • A competitive base salary, plus performance-based compensation tied to your P&L
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A comprehensive group insurance plan
  • Paid vacation from your start date
  • Fully remote within the U.S.

If you have the instincts of an entrepreneur and the discipline of a trader, we want to build with you. At CWP, your ideas are the strategy and our technology, capital, and people are the force behind them. Bring your edge - we will give you the room to run and the support to scale it. Apply today and let's find out what we can build together.
