Position Summary

The Implementation Specialist plays a key role in delivering successful customer implementations of Yes Energy's PowerCore platform. Working directly with customers, this role is responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, validating data, supporting testing, and guiding customers through implementation and adoption. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure projects are delivered successfully while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Position Details

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$115,000 plus bonus

  • Reporting to: Senior Director, Professional Services
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20-30% depending on client needs and project milestones

Primary Responsibilities

Customer Implementations
  • Support customer implementations from discovery through go-live.
  • Gather and document business requirements, workflows, and solution designs.
  • Configure customer environments and perform data validation.
  • Execute testing plans and troubleshoot implementation issues.
  • Deliver customer training and support user adoption.
Technical Delivery
  • Analyze customer data and validate calculations and implementation results.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to support implementations and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with system integrations, data exchanges, and configuration activities.
  • Partner with Engineering to resolve technical issues and improve implementation processes.
Customer Success
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process.
  • Lead customer meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Respond to customer questions and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Create customer-facing documentation and implementation guides.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver successful customer implementations.
  • Contribute feedback to improve implementation methodologies, documentation, and customer experience.
  • Support continuous improvement of implementation processes and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software implementation, professional services, business analysis, systems integration, or solution delivery.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of North American ISO/RTO markets.
  • Experience implementing SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience supporting customer integrations, testing, and data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.
