Your Mission

PostcardMania is seeking a skilledand detail-oriented Power BI Developer to build, maintain, and improve businessintelligence reporting solutions across the organization.

This is a hands-on individualcontributor role focused on developing Power BI dashboards, reports, semanticmodels, and supporting data solutions. You will report to the Tech Lead andwork closely with business teams to translate reporting needs into accurate,easy-to-use, and high-performing analytics solutions.

This position is ideal for someonewho enjoys working with data, solving reporting challenges, and turningbusiness requirements into clear and actionable Power BI experiences.

YourResponsibilities
  • Design, build,and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for departments across theorganization
  • Develop andmaintain Power BI semantic models, relationships, calculated columns, andmeasures using DAX
  • Write andoptimize SQL queries and use SQL Server views and data warehouse tables tosupport reporting
  • Use Power Queryand other data transformation tools to prepare, clean, and shape data forreporting
  • Buildintuitive, visually consistent, responsive reports that are easy forbusiness users to understand
  • Troubleshootreport performance, data accuracy, refresh failures, gateway issues, andother Power BI problems
  • Work with theTech Lead and business stakeholders to gather requirements and buildreporting solutions
  • Validate dataand reconcile Power BI results against source systems to ensure reportingaccuracy
  • Maintainexisting reports and enhance them as business requirements change
  • Document reportlogic, measures, data sources, and key technical details for long-termmaintainability
Schedule

This is a full-time position either in office or remote. Monday-Fridayfrom 8am to 5pm.

Requirements
  • 3+ years ofhands-on experience developing business intelligence solutions, with a strongfocus on Power BI
  • Strong Power BIexperience including report development, semantic models, DAX, PowerQuery, drillthrough, bookmarks, slicers, conditional formatting, andinteractions
  • Strong SQLskills, including writing joins, aggregations, CTEs, views, and queriesagainst relational databases
  • Goodunderstanding of dimensional modeling, including fact tables, dimensions,relationships, and star schemas
  • Experienceconnecting Power BI to SQL Server
  • Ability totroubleshoot data discrepancies and performance issues in reports, models,and queries
  • Strongattention to detail and a commitment to accurate, consistent reporting
  • Ability tounderstand business requirements and communicate clearly with technicaland non-technical users
  • Self-starterwho can manage assigned work independently while collaborating with theTech Lead and team members
