Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Power BI Architect based in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves leading technical discussions and providing guidance on complex reporting and data solutions using Power BI and Azure Data Platform.
Responsibilities:
• The candidate is expected to be a Technical Architect who can work with customers and teams and lead technical or business discussions and provide technical guidance to clients and team members delivering initiatives.
• The ideal candidate must have been in a Senior Architect/Consultant / Engineer role where she/he has led the design/implementation of several complex reporting and data solutions on Azure Data Platform and Power BI with multiple integrations and reporting needs.
• The role is a combination of solutioning, consulting and hands-on experience.
• The ideal candidate will need to envision, design, and implement the technical solution working with customer and internal technical team.
• Candidate will lead the project providing design/implementation guidance to teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in architecture and design of highly scalable, performance, resilient reporting and analytical solutions, using Power BI and/or AAS
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• 5+ years' experience in designing solutions with Power BI
• In-depth knowledge and experience on capacity planning and optimizing Power BI premium workloads
• Hands-on with troubleshooting performance issues with Power BI Premium hosted reports
• Expertise in designing/developing reports with Power BI
• Designing Reports against cloud and on-prem data sources
• Good knowledge of working with Enterprise Gateway, data refreshes scheduled through service, or through REST APIs
• Power BI Dataflows
• Data Modelling using complex DAX calculation
• Power BI Paginated reports
• Experience implementing robust security model in Power BI solutions
• Experience building reporting solutions using Tableau
• Any prior experience migrating Tableau to Power BI will be highly valued
• 14+ Years total IT
• Experience building solutions for Data Pipelines, Data warehousing, Data Modelling on Azure Data Platform
• Experience working with ADF pipeline and Databricks to build data movement pipelines
• Experience working with Data Lake, Synapse DW on Azure
• Expertise with SQL Server and extensive experience with SQL programming
• Experience with Big Data processing, using Big Data technologies on Azure platform
