Job description

As a BI Solutions Consultant on our Implementation Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business intelligence for leading organizations. This is your opportunity to work with innovative technologies and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. You'll leverage your expertise in ERP systems and the Microsoft technology stack, including T-SQL coding and Power BI data modeling, to deliver high-impact solutions that empower our clients to make smarter, data-driven decisions.

In this role, you'll also get hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud Lakehouse environments, such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, enabling you to design and implement modern data architectures that drive scalability, performance, and advanced analytics capabilities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead BI Implementations: Install and configure the QuickLaunch product and Microsoft BI components, including SQL Database Views, Power BI Premium Datasets, Paginated Reports, and interactive Power BI dashboards.
  • Drive Client Success: Conduct solution review sessions with customers and validate QuickLaunch
    implementations.
  • Build Data Pipelines: Configure ETL solutions using Databricks
    or Microsoft Fabric
    to enable efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Enable Analytics Excellence: Create and secure Power BI workspaces and educate customers on best practices for content management and governance.
  • Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Work directly with customers in a remote setting, prioritizing a positive, high-quality client experience at every step.
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience working on Business Intelligence and Analytics related projects using Microsoft BI technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of T-SQL, Microsoft BI Solutions including paginated reports, data models in Power BI or SSAS Tabular Models
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, Viewpoint, OneStream, Salesforce, or other large complex ERP environments
  • In-depth knowledge of reporting/business intelligence applications
  • Experience using Pivot tables
  • Problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
  • Ability and desire to work in fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Education โ€“ Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred, but not required.
Bonus Points
  • Exposure to ETL, ideally Databricks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Microsoft Fabric Warehouse, and Microsoft Data Pipelines is a huge plus but not required.
  • Experience on the business side of reporting and analytics (i.e. familiarity with income statements, balance sheets, or other financial statements).

: Remote OR in Santa Cruz County, CA office

Compensation:

The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000-130,000. There is also an opportunity for a discretionary bonus.
