Onsite – Addison, IL
$18–$20/hr | Full‑time | 10–12 weeks

We’re looking for a hands‑on intern who can help our team build practical AI and automation tools that save time across the company. You’ll work onsite at our Addison headquarters and support real projects from day one.

What You’ll Work On

Automation (Zapier / Power Automate / Make)

  • Build and improve workflows that eliminate manual steps
  • Create simple connectors, triggers, and templates we can reuse

AI Assistants (GPT-based tools)

  • Build lightweight internal “assistants” for drafting, summarizing, and lookups
  • Package each tool with basic documentation and a quick-start guide

Knowledge Search (RAG-lite)

  • Help index a small set of internal SOPs/FAQs
  • Support a pilot inside one department with usage and time‑saved metrics
Who You’ll Work With

This role is scoped to be productive without adding management overhead. You’ll get direction, structure, and clear projects to ship each week.

What We’re Looking For
  • Rising junior/senior in CS, IS, IE, Data, or related field
  • Experience with Zapier / Power Automate / Make
  • Basic Python (API calls, JSON, simple scripts)
  • Familiarity with OpenAI or Azure OpenAI
  • Strong documentation habits and bias for action
  • Must be onsite in Addison, IL for the full internship
  • US work authorization required
What You’ll Deliver
  • 3–5 live automations or AI tools
  • Clean documentation and SOPs for everything you build
  • Before/after metrics showing time saved
  • End‑of‑summer demo to leadership
