Job Title: Power Platform Developer
Location: Saint Paul, MN 55155
Job Description:-
We are seeking one (1) full time developer to design and develop Power Platform applications. The resource should understand how to develop and integrate Power Apps, Canvas App, Power Automate, Power BI, Report Builder, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams. The resource is expected to serve as a Power Platform subject matter expert and provide knowledge transfer to the MNIT developers. The purpose of this staff augmentation is to develop a custom application to replace the current Automated Research Tracking System (ARTS) for the Office of Research and Innovation.
Desired Experience and Skills:-
  1. Three (3) years' experience in Microsoft (MS) PowerApps development.
  2. Microsoft (MS) Infopath development experience substitutes for one year.
  3. Three (3) years' experience in Microsoft (MS) Power Automate development.
  4. Microsoft (MS) Flow development experience substitutes for one year.
  5. Three (3) years' experience in .NET, JAVA, C#, or other development language which can supplement Power Platform development.
  6. One (1) year experience working with Microsoft (MS) Premium Connectors to external databases.
  7. Two (2) engagements with each lasting more than six (6) months in PowerApps Developer role.
  8. Ability to design and develop complex model-driven and canvas apps using advanced techniques like component reusability, data integration, and custom controls.
  9. Previous experience in Power Apps component framework (PCF) for building reusable UI components and extending model-driven apps.
  10. Skills in integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with other Microsoft products like SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Teams.
  11. Skills with using APIs to integrate with 3 rd party systems.
  12. Experience in mentoring other developers on PowerApps and Power Automate.
