Senior Power Platform Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN 
Duration: Long Term Contract


Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 technologies.

The candidate must possess deep technical expertise along with the ability to understand real business problems and transform them into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions within an enterprise environment.

This role requires experience with governance, licensing, ALM, DLP policies, integrations, connectors, APIs, security models, InfoPath modernization, and enterprise application lifecycle management.


Key ResponsibilitiesPower Platform Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using:
    • Power Apps Canvas Apps
    • Model-Driven Apps
    • Power Automate Cloud Flows
    • Dataverse
  • Build scalable enterprise workflows involving:
    • Multi-step approvals
    • Conditional logic
    • Exception handling
    • Escalations and notifications
    • Cross-system integrations
  • Develop reusable Power Platform components and scalable solution architectures.

Business Analysis & Solution Design
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to:
    • Gather and refine business requirements
    • Analyze existing processes
    • Recommend optimal Power Platform solutions
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions aligned with:
    • Scalability
    • Licensing
    • Governance
    • Security
    • Maintainability
  • Provide architectural recommendations and technical guidance.

Dataverse & Data Architecture
  • Design and implement Dataverse solutions including:
    • Tables
    • Relationships
    • Forms
    • Business Rules
    • Views
    • Security Roles
  • Ensure proper data modeling, governance, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Build enterprise applications leveraging Dataverse as the primary data platform.

Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / InfoPath Modernization
  • Develop solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including:
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Outlook integrations
  • Modernize legacy InfoPath forms and workflows into scalable Power Platform solutions.
  • Integrate applications with SharePoint lists, document libraries, and enterprise document management systems.
