MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

GDIT is hiring for a Power Platform Developer to support U.S. Army Europe on our EMITS Program in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Power Platform Developer will work with a team of software developers to support USAREUR-AF business automation solutions which utilize Power Apps, Power Automate and PowerBI reports. The primary duties of this position will be creating data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI. The Power Platform Developer, provides technical support and training to internal and external customers.

  • Develop high performing, reliable, and scalable solutions.

  • Clearly communicate technical details to business and management staff.

  • Perform data analysis in support of USAREUR-AF business automation solutions.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, data exploration, and visual analytics using existing and emerging technologies and tools.

  • Extensive experience with Power BI Service, including establishing gateway refresh schedules and row level security.

  • Proven experience using other Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc. and integrating them with Power BI solutions.

  • Capable of creating datasets and data flows for self-service reporting.

  • Capable of maintaining, updating, and performance tuning of existing BI reports.

  • Understanding of agile methodologies.

  • Experience working on projects in an Agile environment.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Possessing the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED


Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Power Platform Developer must have:

  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field

  • Certifications: DoD 8570 Level II Certification

  • Experience: 4-7 years of progressive experience in business intelligence and/or information management, 2+ years of experience with data visualization and implementing high-value solutions; experience performing administrative activities across multi-environment infrastructures. 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical role.

  • Technical skills:Proficient in the use of Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and Power Query, Demonstrated experience with HTML 5, JavaScript and CSS. Familiarity of various web development frameworks such as SPFx, React, Bootstrap, Gulp, NPM, Webpack, etc. Data governance, data management, and metadata management. Data visualization, dashboard design / implementation, reporting, self-service BI, data KPIs, and scorecards. Predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics

  • Security clearance level: Secret

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
