Job description

Power Platforms Application Developer
Location: Minnesota (Onsite)
Work Authorization: USC / GC preferred
Work Environment: Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) with Azure Commercial Cloud (SQL)

Role Summary
We are seeking a Power Platforms Application Developer to analyze business requirements and build secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate. This role will support an internal project tracking application and a front-end CRM portal, integrating Microsoft 365 GCC services with Azure Commercial Cloud data sources.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions using Microsoft Power Platform in Microsoft 365 GCC
• Develop a Canvas App for an internal project tracking application
• Build Power Automate flows for multiple processes and components supporting the application
• Develop a front-end Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Portal integrating with Active Directory and additional data sources
• Integrate Power Apps and Power Automate with SQL Server (Azure SQL) and SharePoint document libraries
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve applications and establish best practices
• Ensure solutions meet security, data privacy, and accessibility standards appropriate for GCC environments
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to internal staff

Minimum / Desired Experience and Skills
• 3+ years of Microsoft Power Apps (PowerApps) development
• 3+ years of Microsoft Power Automate development
• MS InfoPath experience may substitute for 1 year of PowerApps experience
• MS Flow experience may substitute for 1 year of Power Automate experience
• 3+ years of experience in .NET, Java, C#, or another development language supporting Power Platform development
• 1+ year experience working with Microsoft Premium Connectors to external databases
• At least two (2) PowerApps Developer engagements, each lasting 6+ months
• Strong ability to design and develop complex Canvas and Model-Driven apps using advanced techniques (component reusability, data integration, custom controls)
• Experience with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) for reusable UI components and extending model-driven apps
• Integration experience with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Teams
• Experience using APIs to integrate Power Platform solutions with third-party systems
• Experience mentoring other developers on Power Apps and Power Automate

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in hybrid telework/office environments while supporting onsite collaboration needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
