Why Concordia?
At Concordia College, your work contributes to something bigger. Every role plays a part in supporting our students, strengthening our campus community, and advancing our mission. Here, you'll join a collaborative community where your contributions are valued, and your work can make a meaningful difference.
About the Role:
The Post Office Manager is responsible for the secure and efficient operation of the campus post office, serving students and the business needs of the College. The position manages mail and package services, the customer service window, postal systems and records, and relationships with carriers and vendors. This position also supervises the Postal Clerk and supports Campus Information and broader campus operations as assigned.
Flexible FTE: This position offers the option to work between .75 and 1.0 FTE (approximately 30-40 hours per week) based on the selected candidate's preferred schedule.
What You'll Do:
  1. Manage daily campus post office operations, including the receipt, sorting, secure storage, tracking, and distribution of mail, packages, and other deliveries.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to students, employees, and visitors by managing the service window, processing outgoing mail and postage, and responding to mailing and delivery questions.
  3. Oversee postal systems, records, and resources, including postage meters, mailing and tracking systems, postal accounts, supplies, cash transactions, invoices, and activity records.
  4. Coordinate with postal carriers and vendors to manage pickup and delivery schedules, resolve service issues, and maintain reliable campus mail services.

  1. Experience providing customer service and/or supporting the day-to-day operations of an office, service, or similar work environment.
