Summary of Position:
Cook pizzas in accordance with our company standards and adhere to all recipe requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
โ€ข Cook pizzas correctly according to orders.
โ€ข Always abide by food safety standards.
โ€ข Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
โ€ข When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
โ€ข Keep all paper goods and disposables stocked fully through out shift.
โ€ข Clean computer stations and front counter.
โ€ข Keep dining room tables, chairs, and beverage counters clean upon guest departure.
โ€ข Keep front kitchen work area clean and free of debris.
โ€ข Fold pizza boxes of all sizes keeping them fully stocked and topped with box toppers.
โ€ข Take accurate orders from customers at register and over phone.
โ€ข Be informed of all menu items and specials.
โ€ข Learn all POS, order taking, and order fulfillment systems.
โ€ข Obtain any and all items manager may need to keep shift running smoothly.
โ€ข Keep up with cleaning list and busy work charts.
โ€ข Closing side work and ensuring restaurant is cleaned to the highest standards.
โ€ข Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Requirements:
โ€ข No previous restaurant experience required and at least 16 years old
โ€ข Knowledge of pizza deck ovens not required but recommended.
โ€ข Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (Min. 5 hours up to 12 hours).
โ€ข Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
โ€ข Must have exceptional grooming habits.
โ€ข Must have ample math skills to make change at POS terminal.
