Job description

Because this position requires regular on-site work at our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role.
The Space Planner is responsible for executing the space planning activities in support of the Category and Occasion Team goals for the programs and brands for which they are accountable.
This is done through the development and maintenance of Plan O Grams, understanding and implement the distribution strategy, coordinate the operations execution at retail to maintain retail display integrity. The space planning is responsible for ensuring the productivity of their occasions is maintained at retail by ensuring the right product is placed in the right doors.
Space planning takes the high-level Category and Occasion strategies and goals and ensures that the retail presentation is in line with intent for the Planograms for which they are responsible


The space planner is responsible for determining which captions, price points and ultimately which items from the master line will appear in which POGs to meet these goals and drive retail productivity. This is done through detailed analysis of their occasions and retail results. These decisions determine the assortment of product at retail for each door.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in executing continuous improvement opportunities
Determine price/caption mix for POGs and builds POGs to support Product Managements assortment strategies
Optimize planograms based on analysis to maintain and grow retail POS
Analyze and executes the distribution and execution plan for programs/projects and ensures that retail, caption and pricing goals are met
The enriching, managing, and finalization of line (line list) transitions from a current selling line offering to the new requested line offering, including to support special initiatives and one-off programs
Ensure corporate schedules are met as it relates to POG building, program operations and execution
Identify and facilitate the resolution of specific program execution issues
Resolves routine problems/issues; decisions based on past practices/situations and knowledge
