Progyny is looking for a motivated Senior Client Onboarding Manager to lead internal and external stakeholders throughout our benefit implementation process.
The Senior Client Onboarding Manager will be responsible for driving smooth client implementations that exceed our clients' expectations. We are looking for a natural leader who is smart, innovative, and detail oriented. This individual will play a key role in guiding new clients through the onboarding process to ensure the successful integration of Progyny's products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex benefits programs and managing client relationships for large and strategic accounts.
(This is not a software implementations role)
What you'll do...
The Senior Client Onboarding Manager will serve as both a player and a coach, leading by example while managing a portfolio of new client implementations and strategic projects.
This role is responsible for:
  • Overseeing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring seamless coordination across the onboarding team and cross-functional partners
  • Managing both on-cycle and off-cycle implementations, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are consistently met
  • Driving client implementations that exceed client expectations with minimal guidance and oversight from their direct manager
  • Identifying gaps and optimizing work processes that help the team overcome gaps to support client implementations in accordance with: Business requirements, Partnership requirements, Client requirements
  • Communicating organizational processes both internally and externally (within the team, across departments, with external parties)
  • Managing integrations with client-specific partners (carriers and vendors) that support a collaborative partnership and positive client and member experience during implementation and following the benefit go live
  • Including successful claims processing integration
  • Maintaining accurate, real-time reporting on all current implementation activities including communicating risks and abrasions to their direct manager
  • Partnering with a team of Associate Onboarding Manager (s) and/or Onboarding Manager(s) within the department.

The Senior Onboarding Manager is responsible for:
  • Training, coaching and mentoring team members on the implementation process and best practice adoption
  • Organizing team effort, identifying, and communicating team priorities, and motivating team members to achieve team goals

About you...
  • Minimum six years' experience in a similar role with proven track record of success
  • Experience working in a healthcare / benefit environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree, PMP Certification, or similar certifications is a plus
  • Experience supporting Taft-Hartley Fund, and/or public sector clients is a plus
  • Demonstrated implementation management skills including leadership, communication, customer management, project management

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the hourly salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $90,000 - 110,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
