Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Responsible for all pool rentals, including, rafts, tubes, and lockers.
- Responsible for keeping inventory on all lost and found items.
- Ensures the overall safety of guests in pool area.
- Maintains supplies and ensures inventory is stocked and ordered as needed
- Provides daily rotations and break schedules as necessary.
- Acts as communications center for guest calls, management, auxiliary departments and pool staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- One year of experience in customer service or a pool setting is preferred.
- Basic understanding of computers and use of software.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
- Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendorsand employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
