These skills are crucial to ensure safe, appealing, and regulation-compliant pool designs that meet client expectations.

What type of designer gets paid the most?

In the field of pool design, senior or specialized pool designers with extensive experience, advanced certifications, and expertise in complex or luxury projects tend to earn the highest salaries. Those who manage large teams or run their own firms also typically have higher income potential. Skills in CAD software and knowledge of high-end materials can contribute to increased earning opportunities.

What does a pool designer do?

A pool designer specializes in creating customized swimming pool plans that fit the client's needs, preferences, and the available space. They consider aesthetic elements, safety features, and technical requirements, such as plumbing and filtration systems. Pool designers often work closely with architects, landscapers, and builders to ensure the design is feasible and blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
