Job description

Job Purpose  

The Project Analyst supports the coordination and execution of corporate projects by providing analytical and administrative support to Project Managers and Program Managers of the Project Management Office. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Technical: 

The Project Analyst is responsible for administrating the project packages for key corporate initiatives and providing progress insight to the Project and Program Managers of the Project Management Office. The project packages consist of professional project management tools such as (business cases at glance, project charters, project timelines, return on investment analytics, project status updates). 

Management: 

No management responsibilities are required for this role although the Project Analyst will feed firsthand information to involved managers for further decision making.

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Engineering degrees are preferable. 
  • Licenses/Certifications: N/A. 
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 
  • Strong ability in data interpretation and analytics. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus (i.e. MS Project, Smart sheets, etc.) 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Strong team player 
  • Ability to support projects at rapid pace in administrative and manufacturing environments. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate, work and relate with people at all levels of the organization. 
  • Creative thinking and collaborative approach on all fronts of the organization.
