Job description

Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qcells is seeking a Program Manager to join EnFin's Enterprise Planning & PMO function and will report to the Director of Strategy & Program Management. In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of related projects within an assigned business vertical - connecting individual projects to a single business outcome and ensuring work moves fast, together, and finished.
This is a high-visibility role at the center of the business. You will run the operating cadence for your vertical, manage dependencies and trade-offs across projects, and serve as the connective tissue between business owners, Technology/CIO partners, and external stakeholders (Qcells, Axia, QSS). You will adjust your level of involvement by project - leading where there is no clear owner, coordinating where the business sets direction, and supporting where ownership already sits inside the function.
This position will be based out of the San Francisco, CA or Irvine, CA office, with an in-office schedule during regular working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time) and in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered in exceptional cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Delivery & Outcomes
  • Own end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of related projects within an assigned EnFin vertical, connecting them to a single business outcome.
  • Manage scope, timeline, dependencies, and cross-project trade-offs; make delivery calls and surface decisions to leadership.
  • Calibrate engagement by project - lead unowned cross-functional work, coordinate where vision is set, and provide visibility without becoming a bottleneck where ownership is clear.

Operating Cadence & Governance
  • Run the weekly operating rhythm for the vertical (vertical weeklies and PMO weekly review) and deliver exec-facing readouts on a consistent monthly and quarterly beat.
  • Maintain core PMO operating artifacts: decision log, risk & issue registry, stakeholder map, and capacity view.
  • Drive intake and prioritization through the PMO-Tech protocol (business intake → PMO review → Jira), keeping the Program Warehouse and business roadmap current.

Cross-functional Execution
  • Serve as the primary link between business owners, Technology/CIO teams, and external partners.
  • Translate business needs into structured requirements (BRD and Business PRD) and partner with Tech on feasibility
  • Identify gaps before they become fires - step in to unblock, find the path, and pull in the right owner.

Continuous Improvement
  • Build reusable gate frameworks and playbooks so repeat work (product launches, payout changes, market entry, platform updates) runs consistently.
  • Capture lessons from every retrospective and feed relevant ones into project kickoffs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience including 4+ years in project or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering cross-functional initiatives on time and on scope, managing dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to drive alignment across business and technical partners.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools and intake/ticketing workflows (e.g., Jira); comfortable translating between business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, executive-facing updates.
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • 3+ years of experience in residential solar, energy, fintech, or solar financing (e.g., TPO/PPA structures).
  • Familiarity with data structures, OEM/partner API integrations, and asset/data management workflows (e.g., approved vendor lists, fleet/asset platforms).
  • Familiarity with proposal/design or partner platforms (e.g., Aurora Solar)
