Summary
At Kent Power, our strategic execution of projects helps build the infrastructure that powers the Midwest. As our PMO Lead, you'll shape how that happens - setting the standards, systems, and discipline that allow teams across the organization to deliver complex work with clarity and confidence.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building the structure that enables others to succeed. You'll own our project management framework from end-to-end, serve as the steward of best practices, and partner closely with leadership to ensure projects align with business priorities and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and evolve Kent Power's PMO framework, including policies, templates, and governance standards
  • Ensure consistent adherence to the full project lifecycle - from planning through execution and closeout
  • Lead risk management, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish and monitor project performance metrics, providing clear, actionable reporting to leadership
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams to support consistent practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and delivery outcomes across the organization

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, with demonstrated governance or PMO leadership
  • PMP or equivalent qualification (preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Solid financial acumen and comfort working with budgets, forecasts, and performance data
  • Fluency with modern project management tools, enterprise technologies, and data or AI tools
  • Experience interacting with clients or customers, including presentations and executive-facing discussions
  • Experience in Construction or Utility fields a plus
