The Platform Architect designs and governs enterprise platform architecture aligned with organizational standards while enabling reliable infrastructure, automation, and system integration capabilities across multiple business platforms. This role evaluates existing platform environments to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and performance improvement, and works closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver resilient and scalable platform solutions. The Platform Architect also develops platform architecture documentation, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 7+ years of experience in platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise systems engineering Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and infrastructure design Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Strong understanding of containerization, infrastructure as code, APIs, and automation tools Experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, POS, and analytics systems Proven ability to design scalable platform solutions aligned with business objectives Retail or grocery industry experience strongly preferred, with familiarity in POS, inventory, and enterprise operations systems
