Job Summary:
The Marlin Alliance is a digital transformation company dedicated to ensuring our clients compete and win in tomorrow’s digital world. They are seeking a forward-thinking Power Platform Solution Architect to provide client support to their Navy client, focusing on designing and maintaining solutions in Microsoft Power Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain solutions in Microsoft Power Platform.
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed system design plans.
• Customize and configure entities, workflows, objects, fields, modern commands, and classic ribbon buttons, as well as reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power Platform Dataverse.
• Develop integrations between Power Platform and other systems, using both standard and custom solutions.
• Utilize Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build applications and workflows that meet business needs.
• Extend the capabilities of Power Platform Model-Driven Apps using Client and Dataverse APIs.
• Integrate and develop solutions that incorporate Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, and developers to ensure developed solutions meet business needs and align with the overall objectives.
• Provide timely technical support for Power Platform solutions, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and updates in Power Platform features and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform Developer, preferably in a mid to senior-level role.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics development, infrastructure, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) more generally.
• Experience extending the Power Platform using Client and Dataverse APIs.
• Proficient in integrating and developing solutions using Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.
• Intermediate programming skills in languages such as C# and JavaScript (including front-end frameworks like Angular or React).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations in Dynamics/Dataverse.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 are strongly preferred.
Preferred:
• Experience with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) for design and implementation.
• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior developers.
• Strong analytical skills to support process improvement and system scalability.
