Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Intelligent Automation Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
As part of our growing AI practice, you will work on cutting-edge initiatives spanning low-code automation, AI-powered workflows, and next-generation agentic solutions leveraging tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure AI services.
This role goes beyond traditional workflow development. You will help build intelligent, adaptive automation solutions that incorporate AI agents, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems and help clients evolve toward more autonomous, AI-driven operations.
This role can be performed from near any US CGI office (hybrid)
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and develop agentic automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Build and deploy intelligent workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows)
• Develop AI-powered solutions using AI Builder, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services
• Create low-code applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)
• Implement human-in-the-loop workflows and approval orchestration
• Develop and integrate document processing and data extraction solutions using AI Builder and Azure Document Intelligence
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, process flows, and automation opportunities
• Build reusable components and scalable Power Platform solutions
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, APIs, Azure services, and enterprise systems
• Implement exception handling, logging, and monitoring using Power Platform and Azure tools
• Support testing, deployment, and production stabilization
• Contribute to solution architecture, documentation, and best practices
• Stay current with evolving Power Platform, Copilot, and AI capabilities
• Support CGI's Power Platform practice by developing POCs, accelerators, and demos
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development or enterprise automation
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (required)
Technical Expertise
• 3+ years of Power Platform development experience
Strong experience with:
• Power Automate (cloud + desktop flows)
• Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven)
• Dataverse
• Experience with AI Builder and/or Azure AI services
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio / conversational agents
• Experience with document processing (AI Builder or Azure Document Intelligence)
• Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript, or similar languages
Understanding of:
• Agentic AI concepts
• Human-in-the-loop workflows
• Automation governance and ALM
• Experience with prompt engineering or Copilot-assisted development
Certifications and Training:
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (required)
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (preferred)
Soft Skills:
. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Technical Tools and Methodologies:
. Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
. Understanding and ability to work within Agile project delivery frameworks and methodologies.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $139,300.00.
