Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Microsoft Power Platform/D365 Developer to join our dynamic team. This person is expected to have a background in Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development and administration. Responsibilities may include managing security, troubleshooting, and end-user support. This position will offer direct exposure to our core business with a focus on ensuring customer success with scalable solutions, processes, and applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the daily cross-functional operational readiness of VA's enterprise Microsoft Power Platform and associates supporting the program.
  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other setup options, as necessary.
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Adept in integrating power Automate flows with Microsoft Azure App gateways and APIM deployments.
  • Adept at crafting Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers.
  • Integrate the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current and future) into the direction for all products.
  • Train/support end users with the use of the Microsoft Power Platform application and act as an escalation point for internal issues.
  • Identify trends and predict future needs to assure our customer is getting the best service and experience possible.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform model driven and canvas app solutions.
  • Be responsible for architecting and designing Power Platform tenants/environments, liaising with IT, Security, and other technical groups to ensure all integration needs are met and fully implemented.
  • Partner with cross-function technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery.
  • Adept in managing azure subscription and familiarity with deploying azure r.
  • Provide hands on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform/D365 based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of services integrated with our cloud environments, including proprietary in-house systems and external integrations.
  • Participate as an active member of the enterprise Microsoft Power Platform program that will help guide the roadmap, identify and solve gaps in the program model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Technical discipline required, OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Help desk or other experience working in a customer service capacity.
  • 8+ years of Microsoft Power Platform or D365 Platform administration experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Power Platform or D365 Development experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to use a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
