Position           : Microsoft Power Platform Architect III

Duration         : 12 month contract, potential to extend 

Location          : Houston, TX Onsite – Must be local to Houston

MOI                 : 1st round virtual, 2nd round onsite - MANDATORY.

Description

We are seeking a Power Platform Architect to lead solution architecture, governance, environment strategy, and enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations. This role requires hands-on expertise across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and integration with Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Dynamics).

  • 12+ years in Microsoft ecosystem, with 4+ years dedicated to Power Platform architecture.
  • Deep expertise in Model-driven apps, Canvas apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and solution packaging/ALM.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience designing custom connectors, Azure Functions, and API integrations.
  • Must be available on site for 5 days/week.
  • Strong experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, SQL, Azure services, Dynamics 365, and legacy apps.
  • Strong understanding of environments, security roles, permissions, and governance frameworks.

Hands-On Expectations:

  •  Up-front architecture and design

  •  Hands-on development as use cases scale

  •  Ability to shift from architect → builder as needed

Experience Expectations:

  •  Strong Power Platform expertise (not Dataverse-only)

  •  Prior experience architecting enterprise solutions

  •  Familiarity with Dataverse preferred (2–4+ years exposure acceptable)

  •  Does not need to know every tool, but must have strong exposure to the core platform

  •  Microsoft training/support available; perfection not expected
