Job description

Position: Power Platform Developer ( Part Time) 20 hrs/ week)

              Location: Atlanta, GA, Hybrid, (1 day onsite/week) Mostly remote Sometimes onsite meeting required.

              Direct Client: MasterApp Labs and State of Georgia

              Duration: 6+ Months extension likely for many years

Interview Type:  Either Web Cam or In Person

Position Type: Contract

Job Description:
This is to request an experience Power Platform developer to assist in a a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Platform solutions to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Convert existing PDF forms into Microsoft Forms, including redesign, development, testing, and optimization.
  • Integrate Microsoft Forms with Power Automate flows to create end-to-end automated workflows.
  • Design and build Power Automate flows to automate repetitive and manual tasks.
  • Implement approval workflows, Outlook email notifications, and SharePoint list integrations within Power Automate solutions.

SharePoint Online

  • Plan, design, and implement a SharePoint Online intranet, including a centralized HUB site aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Migrate content (PDFs, documents, and forms) from Drupal CMS (v10.6.2 or higher) to SharePoint Online.
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, libraries, lists, and configurations.
  • Manage and optimize SharePoint permissions, groups, and security settings following best practices.

Support, Governance & Collaboration

  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve end-user issues related to SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and deliver aligned technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and troubleshooting support to developers and team members.
  • Mentor junior team members on Power Platform and SharePoint best practices.
  • Develop user training materials, technical documentation, and deliver end-user training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps – preferred).
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online administration and intranet development.
  • Experience with workflow automation, approvals, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Forms).
  • Experience in content migration from CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal) to SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
