Job description

Hi,

Greetings from Iflowsoft Solutions Inc

Job Title: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

Location: Austin, TX (all 5 days onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to help design, build, and support strategic CRM initiatives focused on the Dynamics 365 Sales platform.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of strategic enterprise CRM solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the Power Platform. The architect will define scalable solution patterns, guide multidisciplinary delivery teams, and ensure that CRM capabilities integrate effectively with enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud-native services, data platforms, and AI-enabled experiences.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate deep expertise across AI-driven delivery, Power Platform extensibility, headless CRM architecture, and core Dynamics 365 solutions. This role requires a hands-on architect who can translate complex business requirements into secure, resilient, reusable, and supportable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform, and related enterprise capabilities.

• Lead architecture and design reviews, evaluate solution options, document key decisions, and establish reusable technical patterns and standards.

• Design large-scale headless CRM solutions that use Dynamics 365 and Dataverse as the core business platform while delivering user experiences through custom web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

• Define integration architecture between Dynamics 365 and SaaS products, Azure services, cloud-native applications, APIs, event-driven services, enterprise data platforms, and downstream systems.

• Establish an extensibility strategy across Code Apps, custom applications, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, plugins, custom APIs, and Azure services.

• Drive AI-enabled software delivery using Power Platform AI-assisted SDLC practices, including AI-supported requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, documentation, code review, and release readiness.

• Architect AI-powered CRM capabilities using Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot capabilities, and related services, with appropriate security, governance, observability, and responsible AI controls.

• Provide architectural leadership across multiple CRM initiatives supporting sales, client servicing, customer engagement, and business operations.

• Define non-functional requirements covering security, privacy, performance, availability, scalability, resilience, supportability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security standards, Dynamics 365 security models, Dataverse governance, data protection requirements, and secure software development practices.

• Guide engineering teams on implementation approaches, code quality, automated testing, DevOps, environment strategy, application lifecycle management, and production support readiness.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, security teams, data teams, implementation partners, and engineering teams to align business outcomes with platform strategy.

• Mentor developers and technical leads, review solution designs and critical code, and resolve complex architecture and integration challenges.

• Assess technical debt, platform limitations, vendor dependencies, delivery risks, and architectural trade-offs, and recommend pragmatic remediation plans.

Required Architecture Expertise

AI-Driven Delivery and Power Platform AI SDLC

• Demonstrated experience applying AI throughout the software development lifecycle to improve delivery speed, engineering quality, documentation, testing, and operational readiness.

• Strong understanding of AI-assisted delivery practices using Power Platform, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, and comparable enterprise-approved development tools.

• Ability to define governance, quality controls, security guardrails, human review checkpoints, and measurable outcomes for AI-assisted engineering.

Extensibility Architecture

• Deep expertise in selecting and designing the appropriate extension model across Code Apps, custom applications, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse plugins, custom APIs, client scripting, and Azure services.

• Ability to distinguish configuration, low-code, pro-code, and external application scenarios and make architecture decisions based on scale, performance, maintainability, security, and total cost of ownership.

• Strong experience establishing API-first, reusable, loosely coupled, and supportable extension patterns.

Headless CRM Architecture

• Deep expertise using Dynamics 365 and Dataverse as an enterprise CRM platform while decoupling the presentation layer through modern web, mobile, and other channel-specific experiences.

• Experience designing large enterprise architectures that integrate Dynamics 365 with SaaS solutions, cloud-native services, identity platforms, enterprise APIs, event-driven components, and data platforms.

• Strong understanding of service boundaries, API management, identity and access, caching, data synchronization, transaction consistency, telemetry, error handling, and resilience patterns in headless architectures.

Core Dynamics 365 Solutions

• Deep expertise in traditional and core Dynamics 365 capabilities, including Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, model-driven applications, security roles, business process flows, workflows, plugins, custom APIs, forms, views, and solution management.

• Ability to determine when standard product capabilities are sufficient and when extension or custom architecture is justified.

• Experience modernizing established Dynamics 365 implementations while protecting business continuity and platform supportability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Significant hands-on experience architecting and delivering enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions.

• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Azure integration services.

• Strong technical knowledge of C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, asynchronous integration, and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with Azure services, API management, identity and access management, application telemetry, integration patterns, and Azure DevOps or GitHub-based delivery pipelines.

• Strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 and Dataverse security model, environment strategy, data architecture, solution layering, managed solutions, and application lifecycle management.

• Experience defining architecture artifacts such as context diagrams, logical and physical designs, integration specifications, data-flow diagrams, security models, architecture decision records, and deployment models.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to both executive and engineering audiences.

• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, facilitation, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications relevant to Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or solution architecture.

• Experience delivering CRM solutions in highly regulated, security-sensitive, or globally distributed enterprise environments.

• Experience with enterprise sales, client servicing, relationship management, and customer engagement processes.

• Experience designing reusable platform capabilities across multiple products, business units, regions, and delivery teams.

• Experience evaluating implementation partners, reviewing vendor proposals, and governing partner-led solution delivery.

• Familiarity with responsible AI, data governance, privacy, compliance, and enterprise AI adoption controls.

Candidate Expectations

The candidate must be able to showcase concrete architecture examples, design artifacts, implementation decisions, and measurable outcomes in the following areas:

1. AI-driven delivery using Power Platform AI SDLC practices.

2. Extensibility architecture using Code Apps, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, custom APIs, plugins, and related Azure services.

3. Headless CRM solutions that use Dynamics 365 as a platform and support large enterprise architectures integrated with SaaS and cloud-native solutions.

4. Core Dynamics 365 solutions, including standard platform capabilities, configuration, customization, security, integration, and application lifecycle management.
