Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Job Location:

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Job Summary:

Full responsibility for all the barrel/rack finishing and plating operations and their respective cleaning, activating, finishing/plating, metal recovery baths and rinse solution baths, to prepare and process raw base materials per all Vishay Dale and Military specifications.

What you will be doing:

  • Follows all corporate and department safety guidelines and rules.

  • Cleans parts priors to plating.

  • Follows all documented Vishay Dale Process Specifications (DPS's), as directed, to clean, activates and finish/plate the raw base materials provided. Sets power suppliers/rectifiers, timers, ampere minute meters and any other equipment related to the process.

  • Inspects and documents all process quality results on the In-Process Inspection Log.

  • Assists in the maintenance of all activating, cleaning, finishing, plating, and rinsing bath/solution.

  • Documents all required data on the In-Process Inspection Log, plating tickets, timecards, and any other pertinent/required data logs.

  • Strips and re-plates any plated parts that have been approved for rework by utilizing Division, planting process, Engineer, plating Manager/Supervisor and Division Manager.

  • Three months to one year of experience
