Job Title: Planning Analyst Department: Operations

Reports to: Planning Team Leader Effective Date: 7/21/2025

Location: Adairsville


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Planning Analyst to manage business intelligence reporting essential to our operations and support with material resource planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of planning processes, inventory management, collecting, analyzing, and presenting business data, with hands-on experience in Power Bi and SAP transactions related to planning.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support material planning strategies via MRP to ensure accuracy of purchase requisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and develop visual reports to improve key performance indicators and pain points.
  • Build, maintain, and update Power Bi Reports, evaluate department performance, and communicate KPIs based on departmental needs.
  • Monitor inventory consumption and support with solving inventory errors.
  • Utilize SAP to create, update, and manage material data and to gather business data for reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in SAP material master data and MRP transactions (e.g., MMO1, MM02, MM03, MD04, ME5A, ME55).
  • Proficiency in MS Suite.
  • Proficiency in Power Bi.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control.
  • Ability to manage reporting insights across multiple departments.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in planning or data analyst roles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with electric components is preferred.
