• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical histories and performing specific assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, collaboratively setting achievable goals based on individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient’s assessment findings and current physical capabilities, adapting approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, acknowledging and documenting any changes in patient conditions that require adjustments to treatment plans.
• Prepare detailed discharge plans and follow-up care instructions, ensuring timely documentation of all care activities, including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress summaries.
• Exemplify strong time management skills by maintaining productivity expectations and adhering to a structured schedule while participating in meetings and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives, actively participating in compliance with all accreditation regulations and healthcare policies.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continued education programs and act as a clinical instructor by mentoring students in physical therapy.
• Enhance patient experiences by fostering a flexible and adaptive approach to care while engaging in community outreach and marketing initiatives.

At Vivid Physiotherapy, our primary focus lies in outpatient rehabilitation. Our clients range from post-operative patients to individuals seeking recovery from sports injuries, chronic pain, and other physical impairments. As our Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life through personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and recovery goals.

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
