Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Supervisor for a job in San Antonio, Texas.

Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience 
Summary

The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Assists Rehab Manager with coordination of PT, OT, and SLP operations, including performing treatments within the professional’s respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician. Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI (continuous quality improvement) activities. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or related field. Master Degree in Speech Language Pathology 

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Prefer 3 years as clinician in a comparable facility. Prefer 2 years supervisory experienced and/or demonstrated proficiency in those skills needed for supervisory functions.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Clinical Instructor Certification as applicable

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
