Orthopedic Physical Therapist Outpatient PT
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Salary: $88,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Patient Schedule: Approximately 1-2 patients per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join an orthopedic outpatient practice in Fort Myers, Florida. In this role, you will work directly with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will evaluate each patient's needs, create practical treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and track progress throughout the rehabilitation process. The goal is to help patients improve strength, movement, mobility, and everyday function.
Responsibilities
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and manual therapy
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans when necessary
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Manage approximately 1-2 patients per hour during scheduled treatment times

Requirements
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) License
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT)
  • Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal treatment
