Our Personal Lines Marketing department is currently seeking a marketing representative. This role is responsible for driving profitable premium growth by selecting, engaging and managing independent agents to successfully sell and support products and services. The candidate is required to reside within the assigned territory of Indianapolis.
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $140,000 annually. The pay determination is, and can be increased, based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
  • direct regional marketing plans, strategies and tactics to achieve agency goals, such as increasing profitability, motivating agents and effectively managing expenses
  • develop agency relationships that foster long-term partnerships to maintain and drive profitability
  • review territory to drive new, profitable business growth and identify under-performing agencies
  • understand and effectively leverage agency business opportunities, needs and performance objectives
  • assist with the training and onboarding of new agents and customer support representatives, including learning the personal lines processing and policy issuance system
  • work with underwriting to address agency issues including profitability, retention and matters related to agency personnel
  • develop working relationships with other Cincinnati Insurance associates to enhance the servicing of personal lines business
  • assume accountability for all aspects of agency management including training, agency reviews and new business assessment plans
  • travel overnight on a monthly basis
