Job Overview – Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/year

Location: Essex County, MA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


Atlantic Group is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager in Essex County, MA for our client, supporting client servicing, policy management, and new business activity within an established insurance environment. This role manages a personal lines book of business, partnering with clients and carriers to maintain coverage and retention using systems such as EPIC. The position offers growth potential within a collaborative team.


Responsibilities as the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:

  • Client Servicing: Manage daily servicing needs for an assigned personal lines book of business.
  • Policy Management: Review coverage, process updates, and maintain accurate policy records.
  • Renewals and Retention: Oversee renewals and remarket policies to maintain client retention.
  • Quoting and Sales: Evaluate coverage needs, prepare quotes, and present options to clients.
  • Carrier Coordination: Work with carrier platforms and service centers to resolve client requests.


Qualifications for the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensure: Active Property and Casualty license required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of personal lines experience within an agency setting required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal lines coverage and policy structures.
