This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned litigation attorney who has developed a strong foundation in civil litigation and meaningful experience handling personal injury matters. The attorney will manage cases from intake through resolution, working closely with clients, support staff, and leadership while having the opportunity to further develop trial skills and case strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial and resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and negotiations
  • Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case value and exposure
  • Communicate regularly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality representation
  • Prepare cases for trial and assist with or lead trial proceedings as needed

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina, or ability to obtain
  • 5+ years of overall litigation experience
  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on personal injury experience
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
