Job description

Our client, a highly respected and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for injured clients and wants to manage cases from intake through resolution while working alongside an experienced litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury matters, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes for clients.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-suit through litigation.
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain strong client relationships throughout the life of each case.
  • Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
  • Attend mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Develop case strategies designed to maximize client recovery.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license and good standing with the state bar.
  • 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred.
  • Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and other personal injury claims.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience taking depositions and attending mediations.
  • Trial experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
