Job description

Journey with us! Combine your career goals and sense of adventure by joining our incredible team of employees at Royal Caribbean Group. We are proud to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and excellent career development opportunities, each offering unique ways to explore the world.

This position is onsite in Weston, FL. This position is NOT REMOTE and will not be considered for remote for any candidate.

This position is not eligible for relocation.

We are proud to be the vacation-industry leader with global brands - including Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises - the most innovative fleet and private destinations, and the best people. Together, we are dedicated to turning the vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations for our guests.

Silversea is the defining name in luxurious cruise travel by distinguishing itself in the ultra-luxury market with its elegant, all-suite ships, all-inclusive pricing, worldwide itineraries and genuine hospitality. We are proud of our reputation as the "World's Best" cruise line and seek individuals who take personal pride in their work to join our award-winning team.

As a Luxury Cruise Sales Consultant at Silversea, you will manage high-value, emotionally driven sales conversations with discerning guests considering once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences.  This is not transactional sales. Success in this role requires the ability to build trust quickly, uncover emotional motivations, navigate complex decision-making, and confidently guide guests through premium purchase decisions that often carry personal, aspirational, and legacy significance.  You will combine influence-based selling, storytelling, and consultative expertise with disciplined pipeline management to convert interest into long-term guest relationships, repeat business, and advocacy for the Silversea brand.  Success in this role is measured by meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Opportunity Management

  • Proactively manage assigned leads through outbound calls, email, and voicemail
  • Prioritize high-potential opportunities and manage a structured sales pipeline
  • Maintain complete and accurate CRM records to support a full "Customer 360" view

Luxury Consultative Selling

  • Conduct discovery-led conversations to understand guest motivations, lifestyle, and aspirations
  • Recommend tailored Silversea voyages and experiences aligned to guest intent and emotional drivers
  • Confidently guide guests through decision-making, addressing objections with empathy and authority
  • Maximize upsell opportunities and incremental revenue options such as insurance, air, and land packages
  • Support departmental sales initiatives based on company needs
  • Convert opportunities into sales and manage payments and balances accurately

Value Expansion & Relationship Building

  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant services including air, hotels, transfers, shore excursions, and onboard experiences
  • Build long-term relationships that drive repeat bookings and referrals
  • Position Silversea as a trusted partner, not just a travel provider

Brand & Guest Experience

  • Act as a Silversea brand ambassador, demonstrating deep product and experiential knowledge
  • Deliver consistently high-touch, luxury service across all guest interactions
  • Partner closely with Silver Concierge and Service teams to ensure seamless guest journeys

Systems, Product, Discipline & Performance

  • Operate confidently within Genesys and CRM platforms
  • Track outcomes, follow-up commitments, and booking statuses with precision
  • Meet or exceed revenue, conversion, and productivity targets
  • Quickly adapt to new skills and product updates in a dynamic environment
  • Maintain accurate client records using company technology
  • Ability to multi-task and meet Service Levels

Success Metrics

  • Revenue vs. goals and average booking value
  • Lead- to-booking conversion rates
  • Quality of pipeline coverage and follow-up discipline
  • Guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat booking indicators

Corporate Citizen

  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for:

Required

  • Performance-driven mindset with a focus on high compensation
  • Demonstrated success in high-value, relationship-based sales
  • Proven ability to influence decisions without relying on discounting
  • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills
  • Confidence engaging affluent or aspirational clients
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • CRM proficiency and strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience (but not required)

  • Real estate sales
  • Private banking / financial services
  • Luxury automotive or high-end retail
  • Sales positions maintaining monthly sales between $500K and $1M USD
  • Membership, lifestyle, or advisory sales roles
  • Luxury or premium hospitality

Core Competencies

  • Emotional intelligence & influence - reads cues, adapts style, builds trust
  • Resilience & composure - handles rejection and complex objections calmly
  • Storytelling & value articulation - sells experiences, not features
  • Discipline & accountability - manages pipeline with consistency
  • Coachability - open to feedback and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

We know there's a lot to consider. As you go through the application process, our recruiters will be glad to provide guidance, and more relevant details to answer any additional questions. Thank you again for your interest in Royal Caribbean Group. We'll hope to see you onboard soon!
